This section contains pictures of Pembroke Transit buses. The City of Pembroke, Ontario operated its own transit system until a few year ago. Afterwards, transit services in Pembroke were operated by Thom Transit. The buses Thom Transit uses in the city of Pembroke are GM/MCI Classics and GMC New Looks. Transit service is very limited and there are only 2 routes.

This section contains pictures of TTC Canadian Light Rail Vehicles (CLRV) and Articulated Light Rail Vehicles (ALRV). The CLRV's were first delivered in 1978 and numbered 4000 to 4005. The next batch came from 1979 to 1982 and were numbered 4010 to 4199. The ALRV's came from 1987 to 1989 and were numbered 4200 to 4251.

This section contains pictures of TTC Flyer D901 buses. The 1985 D901's were numbered 6000 to 6122 and the 1986 D901's numbered 6130 to 6204. All Flyer D901's have now been retired from active service. The last 2 were 6068 and 6133 which got retired on September 22th 2007.

This section contains pictures of 1987 TTC GM/MCI Classic buses. The GM Classics are numbered 6210 to 6259 and the MCI Classics 6260 to 6293. Only 2 GM Classics remain #6221, 6223, but are on longer in TTC revenu service. They operate a special shuttle route on Toronto Island off of mainland Toronto.

This section contains pictures of TTC New Look aka 'fishbowl' buses from various years. The TTC currently operates the largest New Look fleet in North America. There are no originals left, meaning all New Looks remaining have received a rebuild and renumbered in the 2XXX series.

 | 21st Dec 2006 | Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) - GMC New Look buses 2000-2110 (1979-81 rebuilds) & 2600-2619 ex-STCUM (1979-82 rebuilds)
This section contains pictures of TTC GMC New Look buses from the 2000 to 2110 series, which were the first rebuilt New Looks. Only 1 bus remains in this series, #2017. The second part of this section features pictures of GMC New Looks from the 2600 to 2619 series. They are ex-Montreal Transit Commission (STCUM) rebuilds. Only 20 of 62 got rebuilt. The others were too rusted when the TTC got them in 1999. All the 26 series ex-Montrealers are retired.

This section contains pictures of TTC GMC New Look buses that were rebuilt and renumbered 2240 to 2485. These buses were originally built in 1982-83 and numbered 874X to 898X. The New Looks in this series are slowly being retired as new buses arrive every few months in the TTC. There are 147 GMC New Looks left in active service from this series!

This section contains pictures of TTC GMC New Look buses renumbered in the 27XX and 28XX series. They were originally numbered in the 86XX and 87XX series and built in 1981-82. Bus #2766 doesn't exsist due to the fact that a historic Peter Witt streetcar has that number in the TTC. A total of 10 buses remain in this series.

This section contains pictures of TTC New Flyer D40 buses. They were first delivered in 1987 and numbered 6300 to 6359. All these buses have been since retired from service. The second batch came in 1988 and were numbered 6420 to 6434. The TTC received 2 more deliveries in 1989 numbered 6440 to 6521 and in 1990 numbered 6560 to 6638. Due to serious frame corrosion issues, the TTC retired all the 1990 D40's from service way before the 88-89 models. All D40's in the TTC are now retired.

This section contains pictures of TTC New Flyer (NFI ) D40LF buses. These buses were delivered in 1998-1999, with only 7300 being the unit made in 1998. A total of 51 NFI D40LF buses (7300 to 7350) operate in the TTC fleet.

This section contains pictures of TTC Orion V buses. They were ordered in 1991 and numbered 6640 to 6745 and in 1996 and numbered 7000 to 7134. The TTC also experimented with CNG Orion V buses, but that didn't last very long. All CNG Orion V's were either retired like the 93XX series or converted to diesel like the 94XX series. The CNG's were delivered in 1990 and numbered 9370 to 9394 (all retired) and in 1996 numbered 9400 to 9449 (converted to diesel).

This section contains pictures of TTC ex-CNG (Clean Natural Gas) buses that are now all converted to diesel. These buses were bought in 1996 and numbered 9400 to 9449 . Unlike the Orion VI CNG's, these buses were able to be converted to diesel and survived from having an early retirement.

This section contains pictures of TTC Orion VI CNG buses bought in 1998 and numbered 9200 to 9249. The Orion VI CNG's are now all retired as the TTC didn't want anything to do with Clean Natural Gas (CNG) buses. Unlike the Orion V's that were CNG, the Orion VI's cannot be converted to diesel, hence their very early retirement.

This section contains pictures of TTC Orion VII NG (Next Generation) buses. The first batch of NG buses are 2007-08 models numbered 1200 to 1423 and the second order are 2008 models numbered 1500 to 1689. This is the TTC's new bus of the future.

This section contains pictures of VIVA buses. VIVA is a rapid transit system that complements York Regional Transit (YRT). Basically, VIVA is an express version of YRT. It offers service between the same cities as YRT. There fleet is made up of Van Hool A330 and AG300 buses.
